1. Disruption is giving the world something you didn’t know it was missing. To my mind, that’s what artists do too.
2. Artists do their best works on non-commissioned conditions.
3. We tend to say/think we have to incentivize people to create.
4. “If then motivation” doesn’t work that well for creativity — artists, musicians.
5. Carve out a sacred space for failure — for non-commissioned work.
6. You cannot have disruption without failure.
